An Insider's look about the planning...

Hello Everyone! So, I'm kind of new to this whole blog thing, but I figured I'd give it a try. I wanted to just blog about my wedding and all the fun, stressful, annoying, and time consuming things that a normal bride, like myself gets to go through. I've been engaged for 5 months now.... wow, I can't believe it! And yes, I've dreamed of being engaged my whole life and planning a wedding. It's fnally here!!!

A couple of things I've noticed about being engaged, when I'm in class, I stare at my ring, people probably think... "What is that girl doing?" Then, when I go to work, I realize that in a certain room, it seems more sparkly. I seem to be obsessed with it! But hey, if you had a 1 carat diamond ring on your finger, you wouldn't be proud of it? Another thing is , I run through things in my head all day long like, how many tables do we need and where are they going at in the reception, what the centerpieces will be like, who is going to be my photographer (which I'm still trying to find the perfect one), what I'm going to put in the Welcome bags for the out of town guests, which of my attendants will be walking with Mike's attendants, what kind of side items do I need to pick for the food... and the list continues!! I find myself drawing the wedding party and what it is going to look like on the stage at the chapel, how I am going to wear my veil, and what order my flowergirls and ring bearers are going to walk in.

One thing I am super excited about is my bride planning book (I made it) now has tabs, and it is labled in catagories! It's expanding with all my ideas, lists, drawings, and cut outs of my 20 wedding magazines (I'm not exaggerating) I have in a stack on my bedroom floor. It's pretty serious and so much fun, I think I could be a professional.

My Dress: I have ordered my dress from a really good shop called Bridals by Jodi. I love that place, and the girl who helped me there, Candice (She is amazing!). I will recommend it to anyone!

Just some other info about my big day if you are interested:

Place: Seacoast Chapel
Reception: Alhambra Hall (It's so georgeous!!!)
Colors: YELLOW, pink, and tiffany blue
Flowers: Gerber Daisies and roses

Weddings, weddings, I love them!
